Each Elan is built in a semi custom way. The hulls and decks are constructed with vacuum infusion laminating giving a superior fiber to resin ratio that cannot be achieved with hand lamination. The hull to deck and hull to grid joints are bonded and taped to the hull deck joint and also bolted through. Vinylester resin is used in the outer layers below the waterline for long term osmosis protection. The interiors are handcrafted by quality tradesman to give an understated elegance and durability.The semi-deck salon exudes supreme comfort with flowing spaces a welcoming ambiance panoramic windows and light wood interior. Accommodations
The cockpit area features dual helms with a large center cockpit table teak seating and decks. From the cockpit and down the companionway steps you enter the large main salon. All interior fabrics are blue and the flooring is teak and holly. All cabinets are teak but stained to match an American cherry color. The color combinations are stunning. Immediately to port is the large L shaped galley area complete with double stainless steel sinks ample storage and solid surface counter tops. Through the galley area you can enter the master stateroom. The master stateroom may also be entered along the starboard side. The master features a centerline queen berth with port and starboard settees cosmetic storage and large mirror significant storage and hanging lockers. As you exit the master stateroom through the starboard side immediately to starboard is the master head with the convenience of a separate shower stall. The master head also acts as the day head. In the starboard passageway is access to the starboard side of the Volvo engine and additional three sided access is found in the master stateroom. From the companionway to starboard is the navigation station. Forward is the huge main salon itself. Along the port side is a C shaped settee with center insert cushions which converts the settee into a large double berth. To starboard is a long settee and centered in the main salon is a folding table with liquor bottle storage. The main salon features 1 large deck hatch 1 opening deck hatch 2 large deck port lights 2 hull port lights 6 overhead lights and stylish companionway step lights. Through the main salon and forward along the port side is the guest stateroom with upper and lower twin berths (with room for even your tallest guests) hanging locker and storage cabinet. Across from the guest stateroom is the forward head with vanity and pull out shower. All the way forward is the VIP stateroom with a centerline berth small starboard side settee and significant storage with hanging locker and cabinet.
